About me - Born in Canton, Ohio, McKenna Loren’s interest in music was sparked at a young age. Her songwriting ability became apparent shortly after making a decision to focus on guitar and voice theory at the age of 12. Her first singles, “Brought Down” and “Twelve Hours,” were written in 2010 and 2011. McKenna soon began recording her originals with Otto D’Agnolo of Chaton Studios in Phoenix, and performing regularly at venues including Ground Control Gastropub; Arizona’s Kidstock; Verrado Founder’s Days featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The Romantics and Andy Grammer; and the Arizona State Fair. McKenna’s first official single, You Can’t Beat The City, was released on December 4, 2012. Her second single, It’s Been So Long, will be released on January 8, 2013. McKenna’s musical influences include Florence + The Machine, The Killers, Jack Johnson, Christina Perri, John Mayer, and Imagine Dragons.
